Can the copper3D product Plactive be replaced with any copper infused PLA?

    I have the same question

AND NORMAL filaments can’t be used, is that correct???

I know that compared to most other metals like SS, Ti64, Inconel, etc. copper is very hard to use in AM… I did a quick google search and found that “Due to their surface properties, copper alloys and pure copper will reflect the laser’s radiation of 1 micron wavelengths back at the equipment, causing machine damage. Also, the material rapidly absorbs the infrared light as it goes through an unstable and intermittent re-melting process.”

But it still makes me wonder why copper and copper alloys aren’t being used more right now.
